The Canucks made Jeff Bandura their second round draft pick in 1977 following a fine junior career on defence with the WHL Portland Winterhawks. He played two seasons with Canucksǃ٠top farm team in Dallas (CHL) before he was dealt to the New York Rangers (Nov. ǃÙ80). He played one season with the Rangersǃ٠AHL affiliate in New Haven before heading for Europe to play in Switzerland. He wound up his playing career in the mid ǃÚ80s with stints in Spokane (WIHL) and Maine (AHL). HeǃÙs now involved with a company which manufactures energy bars here the Lower Mainland. In his spare time, Jeff in an avid cyclist who competes in races, both on and off road. He has won many awards in this discipline He is involved in the marketing of nutritional supplements. He also coaches kids hockey and is an enthusiastic member of the Alumni hockey team.
