Moe Lemay enjoyed a spectacular junior career with the Ottawa 67s, scoring 116 goals and 138 assists in three seasons as a first-team all star for the OHA club between 1979 and 1982. Canucks selected him in the 4th round (105th overall) in the 1981 Entry Draft and he played the next six seasons for Vancouver, highlighted by 1984-85 when he scored 21 goals and 31 assists for 52 points. Part way through the 86-87 season, he was traded to Edmonton, then had a brief stint with Boston and Winnipeg before leaving the NHL to play in Europe in 1989. He played in Austria, Switzerland and Germany before retiring as a player in 2000. He recently returned to the Vancouver area where he works in marketing at Chilliwacks The Falls Golf Club, where he hosts an annual Canucks Alumni Ryder Cup tournament. He is also involved in minor hockey coaching and joins the Canucks alumni team for many of their charity games.
