A graduate of Sir George Williams University in Montreal, Norm Jewison went to work full time at NHL headquarters in 1966, a year which heralded the LeagueǃÙs expansion from six teams to 12 just one season later. He worked for 11 years in statistics and information services during the term of president Clarence Campbell. In 1977, he moved west to assume the role of PR director of the Canucks, a post he held for 10 seasons. Now the longest-serving member of the Canucks organization, Jewison oversees production of the game program and some other publications and serves as liaison between Canucks past and present. He also sits on the board of the Canucks For Kids Fund and is co-chair of the Jake Milford/Canucks Invitational Golf Tournament, an event which has raised nearly half a million dollars for charity since 1984. In 2003, he won the "7th Man Award", presented by the NHL Alumni Association in recognition of exemplary work behind the scenes for the Canucks Alumni. Since 1997, he has coached and managed the alumni hockey team.
